Cycling campaigners push for learner drivers to be taught ‘Dutch reach’ method

 

Steven Baylis provides his comments to The Times newspaper in an article regarding the push by cycling campaigners for the Department of Transport to make it compulsory for learner drivers to be taught the ‘Dutch reach’ method of opening the car door with the hand furthest from the door to prevent the rise in injury and death from car-dooring.
